Sunflowers produce a energy-rich oil which is in demand for both the biofuel and food markets. Each ecological zone has a choice of energy crops which provide processed biofuels or feedstock for further processes. The use of hand-fed round wood or auger-fed pellet fuel stoves is on the increase. Local wood fuel supply networks are developing to serve the domestic and community heating market. Hydrogen and other useful gases are naturally produced by many plants and micro organisms. The culturing of certain new strains may lead to methods of biofuel production including green hydrogen production and natural biodiesels. A Syngas cooler is transported to a landfill site. The Burning of waste and low value biomass in co-fired and Combined Heat and Power situations can reduce the percentage of fossil fuels being burnt in thermal energy plants and increase the energy efficiencies of combustion.
