Operations Manager - Landfill Gas
c£45,000 - £60,000 plus pension, 25 days etc
We are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Operations Manager, to ensure that Landfill Gas plant operations are carried out in a safe & environmentally compliant manner, providing renewable power to local surrounding areas. Our client is a leading proponent of renewable electrical power generation in their sector.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Providing Guidance to Area Managers & Plant Operators with respect to Health & Safety legislation.
· Continuous improvement in Landfill Gas Production Operations
· Achieving budgeted output whilst managing costs.
· Site visits & audits
· Operations & Maintenance Management on landfill gas engines & ancillary plant.
To be considered for this position, you should have an engineering qualification to HNC or above in electrical or mechanical engineering, line management experience, maintenance engineering experience & ideally a knowledge of reciprocating engines. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, plus a successful track record in the landfill gas or energy from waste sector would be very advantageous.
This is a permanent position based in the Bolton area; due to the location of the sites you will need a full UK driving licence to access the sites. Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of c£45,000 to £60,000 plus company benefits.
