Business Development Manager. Location: South East, UK. Salary: Around £28,000 - £38,000 + car + excellent bonus!

Green Recruitment Solutions are working with a growing Waste Management company that are involved in Total Waste Management solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the South East region. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve agreed sales targets and profit
  • Champion best practice relationship management with suppliers and customers
  • Proactively manage sales campaigns for both short and long term sales strategies
  • Strategic account management with individual account plans
  • Identify new business opportunities and capitalising upon them
  • Forging strong and profitable relationships with key decision makers within client organisations

Essential Requirements:

  • A solid sales track record gained within the Waste Management industry.
  • An effective sales professional with solutions based sales skills
  • Proven ability to work within a target driven environment and achieve sales targets
  • Flexible with being office based one day per week and travelling for the rest of the week to meet with clients
  • Strong influencing skills
  • A valid Drivers Licence
  • A decent knowledge of the Waste Management industry

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of securing contracts for handling difficult waste streams, hazardous waste, special wastes or selling TWM solutions
  • Someone who can look at a particular waste stream and spot an opportunity for making money, then having the initiative and commercial acumen to develop a solution to take to market, taking full ownership of the project and developing the market
