Green Recruitment Solutions are working with a growing Waste Management company that are involved in Total Waste Management solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the South East region. - Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve agreed sales targets and profit
- Champion best practice relationship management with suppliers and customers
- Proactively manage sales campaigns for both short and long term sales strategies
- Strategic account management with individual account plans
- Identify new business opportunities and capitalising upon them
- Forging strong and profitable relationships with key decision makers within client organisations
- A solid sales track record gained within the Waste Management industry.
- An effective sales professional with solutions based sales skills
- Proven ability to work within a target driven environment and achieve sales targets
- Flexible with being office based one day per week and travelling for the rest of the week to meet with clients
- Strong influencing skills
- A valid Drivers Licence
- A decent knowledge of the Waste Management industry
- Experience of securing contracts for handling difficult waste streams, hazardous waste, special wastes or selling TWM solutions
- Someone who can look at a particular waste stream and spot an opportunity for making money, then having the initiative and commercial acumen to develop a solution to take to market, taking full ownership of the project and developing the market
