Our client, a market leader in its niche field within the pumping / water engineering & service sector, require a UK wide Sales Manager, Business Development Manager / Account Manager to provide commercially aware development of major utilities / water sector accounts & be based out of Fareham offices.
Reporting to the Director, & joining a busy & successful sales team you will providing service to both existing & new clients, being active through visits & on the phone to customers, who are the major Water Utility company to raise awareness of product offering & services. Ultimately the aim of this role is to progress to major orders, potentially up to £1m, including the freedom to visit customers across the south of England & beyond.
You should be highly organised, with confident communication skills & keen to progress into, or be from a UK wide sales manager / account manager role. A technical / engineering background would be helpful, as would a good understanding of the utilities sector / Water Industry. With varied leads available from previously supplied equipment / previous quotes, leads from service engineers plus admin support to existing sales on current accounts, including electronic copies of quotes, posting/emailing sale literature there will be plenty to do. You must be fully IT literate & be prepared to travel as part of your role.

Salary up to £35,000 depending on skills & experience with a potential to rise as sector experience gained, plus holiday, pension, free parking & Monday to Friday week.
