Business Development Manager - UK Waste Procurement

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

£40,000 to £60,000 plus car, depending on experience

Our client, a market leader in its niche field within the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) & Waste Management sector, require a Business Development Manager to source & procure sustainable streams of waste from food & drink manufacturers plus waste management companies.

Joining a busy, successful team, you will influence an extensive network of contacts in the waste, food & AD industries, including both new & existing customers in order to develop waste procurement in strategically targeted areas. In addition, you will help ensure the delivery of the commercial plan to achieve budgetary targets in terms of profitability for the AD channel.

You should be a highly organised sales / purchasing / procurement specialist, with confident communication skills & have a proven track record in influencing & procuring from food manufacturers & waste / AD companies. You should have a background in either sales or purchasing / procurement with waste / food manufacturing or related industries. You must be fully IT literate with a full, clean driving licence.

Salary in the range from £40,000 up to £60,000 depending on skills & experience plus a company car, 25 days holiday, pension, working Monday to Friday.
