CHP Service Technician - Anaerobic Digestion
Up to £32,000 plus vehicle + benefits
Midlands, Yorkshire - Field Based
We are currently seeking to recruit a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer / CHP Technician / Maintenance Technician, to carry out servicing & maintenance activities across multiple sites throughout the UK. Our client is a leading organisation that provide on-site support for a range of industrial utilities equipment, with a requirement for a Service Technician to join their field based team.
As a CHP Service Engineer, you will be required to:
- Carry out planned & reactive maintenance on Steam systems, boilers, engines (MAN), anaerobic digesters, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
- Conduct Mechanical PPM activities
- Electrical fault finding
- Carry out fault diagnosis
- Respond to breakdowns on standby as part of a 1 in 3 week call-out rota
To be considered for this position, you must have relevant industry experience working on CHP systems (combined heat and power), ideally with MAN engines or similar (jenbacher, deutz, etc.). You must hold a relevant engineering qualification (apprenticeship or ONC preferable) and be IT literate. Those with experience in the Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas sector are desirable and those with a marine engineer, ex-Army or Royal Navy background will also be considered.
This is a field-based role covering the UK (majority of sites are based in the Yorkshire area). You must hold a valid UK licence.
The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary up to £32,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits including van, laptop, mobile, overtime, etc.
