Electrical Field Engineer - Power Generation

Salary - £35,000-£40,000 DoE + Benefits

Location - Mid UK - Home Based

ASTUTE Technical are actively seeking an electrically biased Field Service Engineer who is flexible to travel extensively throughout the UK. This role is home based but you will ideally be located in the centre of the UK (Northampton, Bedford, Birmingham, Nottingham, Peterborough etc.)

You will be joining a team of talented engineering professionals who install and maintain a variety of energy efficient, power generation equipment.

You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of microturbines and CHP units, documenting all relevant paperwork and liaising with customers, clients and other Service Engineers/Managers.

You will need to be electrically biased, hold an electrical/electronic qualification and be competent with electrical controls, PLC programming and fault finding, inverter based power electrics etc. You will also need a full driving licence.

The ideal applicant will have the desire and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the UK and be able to stay away from home 2/3 nights a week when required.

You will be provided with a company vehicle and company benefits with a basic salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience, training and development can be provided however you will need an electrical background with transferrable skills.
