Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer for our client a major player in the Wind industry.
You will be working on a wide range of electrical work for wind farms both at implementation and construction stage and ongoing support.
The range of work will include HV and LV systems, electrical design, cabling, SCADA commissioning, grid compliance, fault finding and any other electrical issues that are escalated from other teams.
You will be primarily office based in Manchester or Dublin and working standard business hours but you will need to visit sites around the UK as part of your role on occasion.
Suitable candidates will have a degree in electrical engineering as well as hands on experience in a site based electrical role.
Of particular interest to my client are candidates who have worked in a hands on electrical role and then completed a degree in order to further their career options.
While experience in the wind industry is not required any relevant experience in utility level electricals will be strongly advantageous.
You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be working directly with customers, suppliers and utility companies.
If you would like to find out more about this role and be considered please contact Luke Westendarp at Cathcart Energy and apply with your latest CV.
