Engine Maintenance Technician - Landfill Gas
£26,000 - £32,000 plus van, pension, holidays

We are currently seeking to recruit a Engine Maintenance Technician / LFG Engine Technician / Field Service Engineer, to carry out routine and reactive maintenance on a range of Landfill Gas Engine plants across the Wiltshire / South West region. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- routine & preventative maintenance on Landfill Gas sites (service, repair, fault finding, de-coking, etc.)
- Ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant
- Ensuring health & safety and safe systems of work are followed
- Identifying requirements for planned maintenance and defect rectification to maximise asset utilisation
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND, etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating gas engines (Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher, Wartsila, or similar). Those with landfill gas experience would be advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading competitor within the Renewable Energy sector. This is a field based position covering a number of sites across the South-West region, focusing on sites in the Wiltshire area, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The package on offer for this role includes a competitive basic salary in the range of £26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience), plus company van, pension, holidays.
