Engineering Manager - 24/7 Process Plant
Up to £45,000 plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager, to oversee & manage the daily operations & maintenance of a busy process plant / waste management plant in the Leicester area. Our client is a well-established organisation and a market leader within the waste sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.
As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing & managing the day-to-day engineering functions
- Developing & improving PPM schedules, ensuring minimal downtime
- Ensuring high operational availability across the sites
- Fault finding & diagnosis
- Budget control - spares, plant maintenance, etc.
- Health & Safety, Compliance - policies, processes & procedures
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 5 years' experience in an Engineering Management or similar role, with responsibility for a team of engineers / technicians. You should have a good knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering, plus a good understanding of working within a time critical process environment. Those with an ex-forces background, plus management experience will also be considered.
The package on offer for this role includes an attractive salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including van, holidays, pension, etc. A full UK driving licence is essential and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
