Equipment Specialist Engineer (Chemical / Mechanical )

Our client, a leading renewable energy organisation who develops & operates bio gas plants, is currently seeking to recruit a graduate level Engineer who has a Chemical or Mechanical engineering background to undertake a varied & interesting role helping develop and evaluate a novel equipment type for overall plant performance improvement.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, working alongside the Maintenance, Operations & Projects teams, you will execute studies about the equipment performance, production capacity utilisation & measure effectiveness of process improvement projects. In addition, you will develop detailed knowledge of process, biology & maintenance to assist with Environmental Compliance, Capital Projects, & support of the plant Power Generation / Gas Production.
You should have a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with a background in process plant manufacturing such as food, pharmaceutical, brewing, petrochemical, chemical, waste management etc & be interested in design engineering &/or project management. Experience with continuous improvement &/or problem solving is essential. CAD would be very advantageous.
This role will normally be based from home, with regular site visits to existing & new build plants in Norfolk and beyond, so locations such as Swaffham, Kings Lynn, Downham Market etc would be ideal locations. You will need to hold a current driving licence.
Salary envisaged to be from £35,000 to £40,000 plus good benefits package.
