Field Service Technician - Industrial Gas
Salary - £35,000 plus van, tools + Benefits
Location - Leeds area, Home based
Astute Technical are urgently looking to speak with multi skilled field service technicians to work for an industry leader in providing steam based combined heat & power (CHP) solutions throughout the UK. Experience with Industrial Gas systems is required, with training on steam plant possible for the right candidate. This is a field based role requiring travel in the Leeds area.
You will be responsible for;
- Repairing & maintaining industrial steam boilers & ancillary equipment in various environments
- Responding to alerts, monitoring performance, troubleshooting & fault finding
- Breakdown response & call out.
- General operations & maintenance
- Adhere to all environmental & health and safety policies
We are looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer/technician who has previously worked on large and industrial gas plant who would like to learn to work on steam boilers, you will hold a relevant mechanical / electrical engineering qualification (e.g. HND/HNC/C&G/Apprenticeship or equivalent, Ex-Military etc.), be IT literate and hold a full driving licence. You should also be flexible to be part of an on-call rota.
The position is offering a starting salary of £35,000 plus great company benefits including all tools provided, company vehicle, pension, holiday etc. this is a home based role and you will be travelling to approximately 4-5 sites throughout Leeds.
