Generator Engineer - £28,000 - £33,000 (Nego DOE) + Overtime + progression
Working on a sole basis, my new client is an award-winning power generation business, with a reputation for being one of the best in the industry.
Due to their continued expansion, we have a new opportunity for a Generator Engineer with a good electrical grounding to join their fantastic business.
As an already capable Generator Maintenance Engineer, you will work with a technical mentor and develop your skills to commissioning level, while performing wiring fault finding and making modifications to generator sets in canopies.
The successful candidate will own a strong base in CHP or Diesel Generator service and maintenance, with a desire to develop further electrical skills and become an expert in this field.
Ideally, you will have some experience on control panels used for CHP or Diesel Generator applications with a strong electrical fault finding capability to build upon.
This position will require travel within the West Midlands, Wales, North West and London, with one to two nights per week staying away from home.
Qualifications at 17th Edition level or above and an ONC/HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering are essential.
