Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for our client in the Wind Power industry.
The purpose of this role is to support the logistics and transport that will enable the construction of large wind farms all over the UK and north Europe with a particular focus on Norway.
You will be involved in supporting the sales process with pricing and finding solutions for remote locations as well as during the construction phase by managing relationships with transport contractors and co-ordinating the timely delivery of wind turbine components to site.
You will need to have solid experience in a heavy goods logistics role involving transport across Europe as well as an excellent attitude, great communication skills and the ability to manage a significant workload. Ideally you will also have a degree qualification in Logistics but significant work experience will be considered in place of this.
You will be working for one of the main players in the Wind industry who is an excellent employer.
The role is based in Edinburgh and there will be some occasional travel across Europe.
This will be a temporary role for an initial 8 months with a great possibility for extension or even a switch into a permanent role for the right candidate with a salary between £34,000 and £40,000 per year.
