Maintenance Engineer - Steam Boiler

Package - £30,000 + Company Car

Location - Stafford

ASTUTE Technical are looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Technician to work on CHP plant such as Steam raising boilers, Cooling towers, water treatment plant, refrigeration, gas turbines, compressors etc. our client provide operations & maintenance to the utilities sector throughout the UK. You will be working across two sites situated in Telford and Burton - on - Trent.

General Responsibilities:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial plant such as refrigeration, cooling towers, combined heat and power units, steam raising plant, industrial boilers, turbines etc.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the plant
  • Other duties as required

The ideal applicant will have a mechanical or electrical qualification such as a HND/NVQ, a full driving licence as you will need to travel between sites, proven experience working with industrial/heavy equipment/machinery or working within the power generation/marine/petrochemical sectors.

This package includes a base salary of £28,000 plus £2,000 on a call out allowance, pension and company car. Training is provided on industrial gas heating systems however prior knowledge of this is advantageous.
