We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to join a relatively new Energy from Waste Power Station in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a growing portfolio of EFW plants in the UK.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:

Strategic and day to day management, supervising, planning and co-ordination of the maintenance department to ensure maximum plant availability.
Management of the sites CMMS system
Planning and managing equipment / plant outages
Managing the maintenance department's budget.
Managing and supervising contractors
Developing the sites out of hours maintenance cover arrangements
Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out with the highest regard for health & safety compliance
Deputising for the Operations Manager when required

Ideally candidates will be mechanically biased with an extensive background in power generation, preferably with good boiler and pressure parts experience.

To be considered you will need at least an HNC in an engineering discipline with a minimum of five years in a senior supervisory role related to steam powered electricity generation.
