Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical
Salary: Up to £37,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. They pride themselves in transforming what we as a nation tend to discard into a valuable resource, always maintaining the focus on reducing the carbon footprint and limiting the impact on the environment itself. As such they are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join one of their established plants in Kent.
What you will be doing
As the site Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of the site maintenance strategy. You will work closely with the site production team to ensure the coordination of a maintenance activity, optimising plant availability, performance and quality.
As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for planning, organising and undertaking corrective and reactive work and be responsible for delivering improvement plans to reduce cost and increasing plant reliability. You will be responsible for the management and coordination of the onsite Maintenance Technicians ensuring maximum production capability. You will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to the Unit Manager advising on required PPM plants influence decision making.
What you will need
To be consider for the role the successful individual will demonstrate the following:
- Extensive knowledge of repair methods of Electrical equipment and Preventative Maintenance Systems.
- Experience of working within industrial, waste or heavy plant equipment environment.
- Knowledge of the creation of detailed scopes of work / Engineering Specifications ready to be sent out to tender
- Minimum Level 3, appropriate Engineering qualifications such as HNC / HND, Electrical Engineering Degree
- Good communication and report writing skills and excellent supervision and team management skills.
- Flexible approach to working schedule and looking to work on a rota basis
