Position: Maintenance Technician - Heavy Process
Location: Leicester
Salary: £31,5000 - Shift based
We are currently seeking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a heavy process site in the Leicester area. Our Client is a leading organisation in the Waste Management sector, with a requirement for a Shift Maintenance Technician to join their Operations & Maintenance department.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the plant
- Maintenance on a range of heavy process plant (conveyors, motors, etc.)
- Day to day engineering procedures
- General maintenance tasks
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Working as part of a 4 on / 4 off shift basis, days & nights
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should have a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 minimum, Time served Apprenticeship, etc.) and have experience working in a similar industry (heavy process / waste management / industrial). Ex-forces personnel will also be considered.

This is a permanent position working on a 4 on, 4 off shift basis, covering days & nights. They're offering a competitive salary in the region of £31,500 with overtime opportunities.
