Job Description

Due to a vast amount of growth our client is looking to bring on a Mechanical Technician/Engineer to join their Second Level Support team paying a competitive salary of €45,000-€55,000 per annum + €140 daily offshore allowance + benefits package. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting offshore wind service company where you will be tasked with the onshore and offshore maintenance of mechanical components.

Mechanical Technician/Engineer - Second Level Support duties and responsibilities:
* Maintenance offshore and onshore with the following systems:
o diesel generators and emergency generators
o cranes
o VAWS equipment (tanks, pumps, leak indicator)
o oil separator / light liquid separator
o special equipment (platform and maritime special technology)
* Implementation of UW - system permits
* Performing filtering operations
* Implementation initial commissioning systems mentioned above (cold and hot commissioning)
* Error analysis, derivation of recommendations for action
* Call UW Technology General
* Documentation of maintenance operations
* Documentation of defects
* Preparing spare parts
* Create work instructions [AA], risk assessments [GBs], method statement procedures [MSP's], [BA's] instructions as well as technical analyses and reports
* Observation and compliance with QM and HSE requirements, as well as QM and HSE standards

Mechanical Technician/Engineer - Second Level Support desired experience:
* Mechanical training either as a technician or with experience in a similar field of activity
* Proficient in the field of mechanical engineering
* Knowledge of the construction and operation of power supply replacement equipment
* Proficiency in the field of hydraulics / pneumatics
* Proficiency in the area of control systems for power supply replacement equipment
* VAWS knowledge
* Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
* Fluency in English and German
* Familiar with MS Office applications
* Offshore medical fitness
