With a focus on the circular economy and a real drive towards sustainability they are now looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Technician to join their Production team on a busy alternative fuels processing plant.
About the role
Due to our client's continued success they are now seeking an electrical and mechanical maintenance Technician / Engineer who can demonstrate a strong maintenance background in a process / manufacturing environment and are looking to progress their career in this forward thinking, eco-friendly business.
In this stimulating role, you'll have the chance to work on a state of the art biodiesel processing plant where your skills and expertise will really make a difference. In return, they can offer an excellent training program to enhance your expertise in a wide range of systems utilised on the plant.
Your day to day responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Technician, you'll be tasked with performing planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance at their site in Liverpool. Your role will operate on a four-on, four-off shift pattern, working 12 hour shifts.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll ensure that all machinery and services are routinely maintained in-line with operational requirements.
You'll quickly respond to machine and system failures and resolve the cause of faults to minimise downtime. Additionally, you'll communicate maintenance progress updates to your colleagues and keep accurate records of your tasks.
Their specific requirements
To be considered, you must have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, including maintaining pumps, valves, boilers, separators and centrifuges.
Focused and hands-on, as a Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Technician, you must have strong problem-solving abilities, a team player mentality and solid communication skills.
Ideally the successful individual will have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship, educated to minimum of City & Guilds part 2 / NVQ level 3 level, but equally candidates will be viewed on their individual merits.
