Multi skilled Technician - Renewable Energy

Thirsk, North Yorkshire

Our client, a leading company working within the renewable energy sector, currently require a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering a process plant site near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

Reporting to the operations manager, you will be responsible for fault finding, maintenance & repair of both mechanical & electrical process plant & ancillary equipment. This including steam raising plant, pumps, motors, compressors & also conveyor systems. You will also be responsible for general operations activities on the plant, as well as helping with fault finding on the PLC & SCADA systems.

You will need to have a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (HNC or above, apprenticeship etc.) combined with experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role, working with process equipment such as steam plant, water systems and pumps in sectors such as power generation / marine engineering / food manufacturing etc.

This is an interesting opportunity to enter the Power Generation sector, & training will be provided for the successful applicant. This role is commutable from Thirsk, York, Ripon & Harrogate etc

Salary to c£27,000 plus pension
