Experienced Operations Manager / Area Manager sought by a successful organisation in the Renewable Energy sector for their new Anaerobic Digestion sites in Cumbria. Excellent remuneration package & career prospects available paying up to £50k.
This company is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the day to day successful running of several AD sites. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead Operations & Maintenance teams including their supervisors. This will include reporting on site P&L, Operations & Maintenance activities, project management (managing commissioning & upgrades to process sites) & staff H&S, ensuring the sites remain safe & profitable whilst maximising energy output & maintaining compliance with environmental controls.
To be considered you will ideally hold a mechanical or electrical qualification with operational experience (including P&L) gained in the Anaerobic Digestion / power generation / energy from waste / renewable energy sector. Experience gained at a similar level such as Plant Manager, Regional Manager, Contracts Manager, Operations Manager would be advantageous as well as a broad understanding of dealing with supply chain/procurement & the Environment Agency.
With a responsibility for managing the operations of several busy industrial process sites, this is a challenging role that will be very visible to board level management & continued success will result in further career opportunities. The financial package on offer for this role is attractive with a basic of up to £50k.
