Operations Manager - Renewable Energy
Salary - c£50,000 + Benefits

ASTUTE Technical are currently looking to speak to experienced Operations Managers/supervisors to oversee various anaerobic digestion/biogas plants in the Leeds and surrounding areas. Our client manages several AD sites throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to continue to grow your career in the renewable energy sector and work within a reputable organisation.
You will be responsible for overseeing multiple anaerobic digestion/biogas/green gas sites ensuring they are running smoothly and to budget. You will need to report on profit and loss, manage the operations and maintenance teams and schedules, ensuring maximum output of the sites is achieved, making sure all health and safety is adhered to, managing projects as and when they occur such as installations, upgrades etc. and ensuring all sites are environmentally compliant.
The ideal applicant will have prior experience in the anaerobic digestion/biogas sector or similar (waste water treatment, processing plant etc.), you will have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and operational/managerial experience. Experience as a Plant Manager/ Regional Manager or Area Manager is advantageous.
You should have prior experience dealing with clients, contractors and external organisations such as the EA. You will also need a full driving licence due to the travel involved visiting sites across the Leeds and surrounding areas.
