Plant Technician - Renewable Energy
£30,000 - £35,000 + company benefits
Our client, a leading company within the renewable energy sector, are currently seeking to recruit a Plant Technician / Operations & Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician to join their team. You will be tasked with conducting service, maintenance & operational activities on a process plant based in the Southwold area.
As the Operations & Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Service & maintenance activities on the biogas plant & ancillary plants
- Safe & efficient operation of the plant
- Ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out within defined budgets
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety & legal requirements
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a relevant mechanical engineering / electrical engineering qualification (apprenticeship / City & Guilds / HNC / HND etc.) and have proven experience working on process plant (pumps, motors, gearboxes, large engines etc.). This position is well-suited for someone with a process / renewable energy / anaerobic digestion (AD) / biogas / Royal Navy background.
This is a permanent position, working predominantly on a day shift pattern Monday to Friday, and you will be required to work as part of a call out rota providing 24/7 breakdown cover.
The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of £30,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience, plus company benefits.
