Job Description

Spencer Ogden are working together with one of Europe's leading companies in the production of premium solar modules. They are looking for a highly analytical Product Manager to join their organisation in the production facilities based in the North of Berlin. Product Manager Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

* Strategic and operational product management of solar modules and systems: Management of products and services over their life cycle and proactive shaping of future product portfolio
* Support for the definition of product roadmaps, release planning and in the development of the product concept phase
* Identify new business opportunities, initiation of development activities, management of the innovation process and development and implementation of product-related business models
* Technology scouting and analysis of competitors and competitive products as well as customer segments and their requirements
* Creating and maintain product specifications and product documentation (e.g. data sheets, installation instructions)
* Coordination and processing of the international certifications of the products

Product Manager desired experience;

* Successfully completed business administration or technical university studies (e.g. physics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering
* Very good analytical and conceptual skills
* High technical understanding and interest in getting involved in new technologies
* Minimum of 3 years professional experience in product management
* Knowledge in product marketing and information
* Experience with product approval procedures
* Excellent communication skills, assertiveness and customer orientation
* Candidate will be expected to have excellent knowledge of photovoltaics, corresponding experience in research or relatyed industries will be considered an additional advantage
* MUST be fluent in both German and English
* Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
* Be willing to travel
