Our client, a leading company working with the power generation and combined heat & power (CHP) sector, currently require a Project Manager to join their team. You'll be responsible for the project management of multiple and large scale turn key and commissioning projects, predominately within the Southern Region although UK travel will be required.
As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with leading all assigned CHP projects and ensuring they are completed to agreed project schedules, budget and cost objectives, quality requirements and deadlines. This will involve being involved in the tender bids for new projects, managing the handover from sales to the project teams, managing customer expectations and liaising with key project stakeholders, along with managing the delivery of the CHP plant through civils, mechanical and electrical installation. You'll also be responsible for co-ordinating installation, commissioning, testing and final handover to customer and operations team.
In order to be consider for this CHP Project Manager position, you will need to hold a relevant engineering (mechanical or electrical) qualification such as an HNC, HND or degree. You'll also need to have proven experience in a similar project management role, working on large scale CHP projects, along with delivering turn key projects with values of up to £10m.
This is a home-based role with the main offices based in the Crawley area and you will mainly be responsible for projects within the Southern region, although UK wide travel and overnight stays will be required in order to meet assigned project requirements.
