Project Manager - Process Plants
Woking, Surrey with site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
£45,000 to £60,000 or c£00 per day
Our client, one of the UK's leading operators of renewable electrical power generation & gas to grid injection in their sector require an experienced Project Manager (engineer) with a Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering background to undertake a 9 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Projects you will take responsibility for activities relating to design, engineering & procurement while liaising with the Construction Manager for process plants & their ancillary facilities (e.g. feedstock storage, power generation & biomethane upgrades). Additionally, you will need to take responsibility for carrying out projects within time constraints, while supervising technical & quality performance as well as keeping within budgets.
You should have a strong project management background of process plants from the power, food, brewing, biochemical, chemical, petrochemical or related industry. You should also be qualified to degree level or equivalent in mechanical, chemical or civil engineering.
You must hold a current driving licence as travel to site/s required. Main site near Woking, Surrey with extensive travel to site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Pro rata salary on offer likely to be in range £45,000 to £60,000 or day rate of c£300 per day depending on skills & experience.
