Quality, Health and Safety Manager - Utilities
£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager / SHEQ Manager, to provide advice, support & guidance to the Compliance function of the UK & European business. Our client is a leading organisation within the utilities instrumentation sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team based in Winchester.
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible:
- Managing & maintaining ISO 9001 / 14001 / 27001 & OHSAS 18001 quality systems
- Supporting new & existing management system requirements
- Managing the audit plan for compliance, assisting with external audits
- Assisting project teams in the completion of Tenders and Requests for Information (RFI)
- Providing advice on H&S and Environmental matters for the UK
- Ensuring compliance is maintained at all times
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience working in a similar QHSE position within a relevant industry. Ideally you will have a HNC or equivalent in an engineering subject, plus NEBOSH / IOSH general certificate. You must have experience auditing at least 2 management systems (9001 / 14001 / 18001 / 27001).
The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000, plus company benefits including pension, holidays, health care. A full UK driving licence is essential and you must have the right to work in the UK.
