Service Engineer - Renewable Energy
£30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits

We are currently seeking to recruit a Service Engineer / Field Maintenance Engineer, to carry out service, maintenance, installation and commissioning activities of CHP / Combined Heat & Power and Gas Upgrading plants and equipment in the Norfolk / Cambridgeshire area. Our client is a leading organisation in the Renewable Energy sector, who provide advanced solution for anaerobic digestion/biogas plants throughout Europe.
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Field service maintenance on plant - CHPs, Gas Upgraders, etc.
- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting
- Installation & commissioning of equipment
- Operation & maintenance activities
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Engineering qualification (time-served apprenticeship, HNC/HND, etc.), with an electrical bias. Ideally experience working within the Renewable Energy or Heavy Process industry (Anaerobic Digestion, CHP, Energy from Waste, Biomass, Food Processing, etc.). You should have hands on maintenance experience and be happy to travel in a field-based role.
The package on offer for this position includes a salary in the range of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience), and benefits including van, tools, pension, holidays. This is a field-based role therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be required to cover the Norfolk / Cambridgeshire areas.
