Shift Team Leader (EfW)
£40,000 to £45,000 inclusive of shift allowance + pension
We are currently recruiting a Shift Team Leader / Shift Supervisor to join the O&M department of a 24/7 process plant in Swindon, Wiltshire. This bespoke new station, using advanced thermal technology, will produce gas to grid from waste biomass in an environmentally friendly manner.

Responsibilities... Reporting to the Operations Manager the Shift Team Leaders / Shift Supervisors will be responsible for: Leading & overseeing shift activities including Plant & Control Room operations & maintenance, ensuring it is operating in accordance with environmental parameters & legislation. Managing the site safety systems. Monitoring plant performance & developing new ideas & measures to improve performance, reliability & efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised apprenticeship/ONC/ HNC/HND/ONC in Electrical Engineering or related Process Operations using SCADA or DCS Systems. A background in O&M with supervisory or management experience within a relevant industry (waste management, heavy process) is essential. Candidates from Pharmaceutical, Cement, Food Manufacturing or other Process Manufacturing will also be considered as will those with an ex-forces background (perhaps Marine Engineering).
This is a shift role & salary is £40,000 to £45,000 including shift allowance plus benefits such as pension & bonus & good holiday entitlement.
