Field Service Engineer / Boiler Technician
£29,000 rising to £32,000 after probation plus vehicle + benefits
South Wales - home based

We are currently seeking to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer / Mobile Boiler Technician, to carry out servicing & maintenance activities across several sites in the South Wales area. Our client is the industry lead in providing combined heat & power solutions across the UK, with a requirement for a Mobile Service Engineer to join their field team.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to:

  • Carry out service, maintenance & repair activities on large steam & boiler plant
  • Daily operation and maintenance duties
  • Monitoring performance, responding to alerts where necessary
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding
  • Respond to breakdowns as part of a weekend call-out rota



To be considered for this position, you must have relevant industry experience working on industrial boiler / steam process plant or large engines / plant / utilities. You must hold a relevant engineering qualification (apprenticeship or HNC preferable) and be IT literate. Those with a marine engineer, ex-Army or Royal Navy background will also be considered.

This is a home-based role, covering approximately 15-20 sites in the South Wales area.

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary of £29,000 + plus benefits such as a van, laptop, mobile phone & tools.
