Team Leader Electrical - Power Generation
c£40,000 plus bonus, pension, 25 days etc
We are currently seeking to recruit an electrically qualified operations supervisor / engineering team leader who wants to progress his/her career to operations manager level, to ensure that plant operations are carried out on state-of-the-art 24/7 power generation plants. Our client is a leading proponent of electrical power generation, designing & building turnkey energy plants throughout the UK.
As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the operations & maintenance team (4 technicians).
- Diagnose & repair technical faults on engine & generators
- Ensure maintenance of PPM schedule on small scale power plants.
- Manage acceptance of new plant
- Promoting & demonstrating a consistently high HSEQ ethic.
To be considered for this position, you should have a good electrical qualification (Foundation degree / HND or equivalent) with mechanical understanding. You should also have man management or supervisory skills combined with operations or maintenance experience in the power generation sector /&/or with large engines & power gensets. A relevant background in the services or marine engineering sector may also fit this role.
This is a permanent position based in the Warwick, Warwickshire area; due to the location of the plants as far south as the South coasts of England & Wales you will need a full UK driving licence & be prepared to travel as part of the role. Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of c£40,000 plus company benefits including 10% bonus, pension contribution, 25 days holiday & life cover.
