Technical Asset Manager - Renewable Energy, London, competitive salary in the range of £30,000 to £50,000

A leading European renewable energy operator is expanding their operation in the UK and Europe, specifically the outsourced asset management services it provides to other power plant owners (banks, funds, investors) who wish to optimize the performance of their investments.

About the role
You'll take the lead technical role assessing the performance characteristics of projects subject to commercial bids, advising the business development and commercial teams to support effective contract closure, plus you'll lead on optimisation of assets under management.
You'll handle contracts with relevant EPC and O&M partners, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the smooth and continuous production of the solar assets.
You are degree qualified, ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering. Also, you'll have strong knowledge of Solar PV, ideally with a focus on asset management or operations & maintenance.
Furthermore, you will be comfortable traveling with the role and you'll speak fluent English with excellent written skills. You're hard working, diligent, ambitious and delivery focused.
Finally, you'll feel confident liaising with clients and internal management, as well as have excellent communication skills for the needs of reports and analyses.
- BEng in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Asset management experience, preferably Solar PV
- EPC/O&M Contract management experience
- Knowledge of FiT/ROC schemes
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Strong communications
- Right to work in EU
- Strong knowledge of inverters
- Prior experience in Project Management/Design of Solar PV
- Second European language is a benefit
- Knowledge/experience in other renewable technologies
A competitive base salary is on offer in the range £30,000 - £50,000; some flexibility is possible for more experienced candidates.
