About the role
We are on the lookout for an experienced Asset Manager to join the technical department of the company and manage a portfolio of solar PV assets.
You will be responsible for monitoring the performance, system efficiency and overall production of the plants, and will produce frequent reports on your findings.
Furthermore, you will also have to monitor any relevant payments, and will also liaise with the finance team for relevant profit & loss and cash flow forecasts – commercial savvy is key.
About the person
The right candidate will be an experienced and qualified engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) and will have prior experience with solar PV, ideally in managing already constructed plants.
Strong understanding of the technical specifications of large scale solar is a must, as well as general knowledge on how the plants function, and what problems their might encounter in their lifecycle.
Finally, a certain degree of financial acumen will be a strong benefit, as you will be able to calculate and analyse the commercial profitability of the plants, and follow this with reports to respective stakeholders.
- BEng – Electrical or Mechanical
- 3+ years of solar PV experience
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV
- Understating of asset management processes
- IT Skills – MS Office; CRM
- Knowledge of FiTs, ROCs, CFDs
- PVSyst and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Second language – Italian, French, Spanish
- Knowledge of other low-carbon tech
- Advanced financial knowledge
A competitive salary package is on offer for the right candidate, likely to be in the range of £35,000 to £50,000 based on experience.
